  • How does it work?

    We use both Nd:YAG and PICO laser technology to target a wide range of tattoo colours, including black, blue, red, green, yellow and purple.

    Different wavelengths target different ink pigments. The laser energy breaks the ink into tiny particles, which are then naturally cleared by the body’s immune and lymphatic systems.

    Nd:YAG is a proven, reliable technology used successfully for tattoo removal, while PICO delivers ultra-short picosecond pulses that rapidly shatter ink into finer particles with less heat transfer to surrounding tissue.

    Both technologies are effective. We select the most appropriate laser and wavelength based on your tattoo’s colour, density, depth, location and your individual skin type.

    Post Treatment:

    • You can return to work immediately.
    • There is no down time for this procedure.
    • On average, professional tattoos require 8-12 treatments or even more, while amateur tattoos require 4-6 treatments with an interval of  8-10 weeks in between sessions.
    • The number of treatments depends on the age of tattoo, the amount and type of ink used as well as the depth of the ink in the skin.
